Weekly Supported Cycling Program
Wednesdays:

We offer a supported program on Wednesdays where we have trained staff on hand to provide individualized attention and assistance with following:
  • Choosing and adapting the best cycle for you especially if you are cycling for the first time in a while, for example post injury or illness. 
  • Assistance with transfers on and off the cycle
  • Staff will ride the trail and check on you
  • Social area with tents and chairs
  • You can also bring a friend or family member or come and cycle on your own at this program.  
  • You can reserve a cycle for a one-hour timeslot or you can join a guided group ride at 10AM or 12 Noon. 
  • Advance registration required.  

Independent Cycling 
Tuesdays and Saturdays:

Season begins in May 2014

Borrow an All Out Adventures cycle outside of our weekly program! Our staff person will provide the cycle that you need and assist in fitting it to you.  Otherwise, you will be on your own. If this is your first time riding in a while it is best to come to a Wednesday program first. 
To participate, you will need to independently or with the assistance of a companion:
  • Transfer on and off the cycle
  • Consistently follow the rules of trail (stay to the right, stop at all street crossings, and notify other trail users when passing)
  • Call the program cell phone in case of 
  • mechanical difficulty 
  • You can reserve a cycle for one to four hours based on availability.
  • Advance registration strongly recommended. 
Cost: 
$5/day or $15/month for unlimited days.  This program is generously funded by the Tufts Health Plan Foundation in cooperation with 

All Out Adventures and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation’s Universal Access Program.


Cycling for Seniors

Join us...Seniors (60+) are invited to join All Out Adventures for cycling on the Norwottuck Rail Trail in Hadley. Whether you cycle regularly, are new to the sport, or getting back into it after a long absence, we have a bike for you! We can accommodate riders of all abilities with stable recumbent tricycles, tandem cycles including a wheelchair tandem, hand-pedaled cycles as well as traditional two-wheel bikes.    

You can reserve a cycle for a one-hour time slot or you can join our staff on a guided group ride at 10AM or 12 Noon. 

Where to meet:
The Wednesday program meets at
8 Railroad Street in Hadley. Park in the lot  closest to Rte. 47.


What to bring:
Wear closed-toed shoes like sneakers. Bring a backpack with a water bottle, salty or sweet snack, and cell phone if you have one. Properly-fitted helmets required. We provide them or you are welcome to bring your own.
